Well, I just typed up a lengthy post about climatology and the upcoming fire season. It was lost, somehow, when I tried to post it. That discussion will now have to wait for another day. Quick summary of the upcoming conditions: warm and dry; bit of rain in the north on Wednesday; warmer and dryer still as we head into next weekend; and no hope for precip during the next 2 weeks. Â
