The weather has certainly become more fall-like around CA over the past couple of weeks. Weak weather systems have begun to brush the northern part of the state with (increasingly frequent) light rainfall, and the cooling and breezier weather associated with these early-season troughs have reached as far south as Central California. This type of pattern should continue for the next week or longer as a series of weak troughs continue to pass by to the north. Recents runs of the GFS have indicated a what appears to be a pretty strong winter-like storm about 2 weeks from now, though in all likelihood this system will remain in the realm of model fantasy.
