This will be a very brief update as I am swamped at the moment, but this event deserves special attention. All the ingredients have come together for a band of significant snowfall in the Sacramento region for much of tomorrow. Accumulations on the Valley floor up to around 4 inches are possible, which would be the heaviest snowfall event ever in the region. I may update later, but this will be an incredible event if it pans out as currently expected. Storm is still on track for Southern California, and isolated severe thunderstorms will be possible in the near-coastal areas across much of the state.
